Saban criticizes Middle East reporting

Oh - is this now ushering in pro-Israeli propaganda reporting in private television? Away with journalistic freedom? So that we too are blessed with reporting like Fox? It's also absurd that he's proposing to take advertising away from public broadcasting by replacing it with one or two hours of educational programming. What does he actually think, that anyone wants someone like that to educate their children? So that they are normalized early on into his lobbying worldview? I hope that politicians will also give this absurd proposal a firm rejection early on. All a nice picture of the fact that things can indeed get much worse than they already were with Kirch.

Steinbrück cuts vacation pay and subsidies

Evil times lie ahead when an SPD minister-president can pull off such nonsense without being punished for it by the grassroots. Sure, some will now say why, it doesn't affect us, it's just civil servants, finally they'll work too - well, folks, don't celebrate too early. If such methods take hold in the public service, they will sooner or later (sooner rather than later) also come to the economy. And then we'll end up sitting in the stone age again when it comes to working conditions. The fact alone that he's still scheming together with agitator Koch is already bad. What he's doing there has nothing to do with social democracy anymore.
