... on my G3 Mac. That's why there was nothing here for a while - my computer was off and wouldn't start up again. For now, I've moved the installation of the Python Desktop Server with which I create http://hugo.muensterland.org to another computer, so I can still access things here with my old computer if necessary. Hopefully my new Powerbook arrives soon ...
... not only does my G3 keep taking heat breaks, now I also have to work with my old Mac. It's not so bad, really, if it weren't so difficult to find an adequate web browser for Mac OS 8.6. Just to give you an impression of the extent of the catastrophe: the only adequate browser is Internet Explorer
Netscape 4.something can barely do anything in the area of CSS and HTML 4 - and PyDS relies heavily on that. iCab under OS 8.6 has constant display problems (not the HTML, but the window itself!), Opera doesn't work at all and all other browsers are rubbish. Well, at least I have web, IRC and news running again. Only email is still miserable - the best I have is my webmail interface on my server. And PopFile doesn't work under OS Classic and not on my old Debian either (because it still doesn't have Perl 5.6). Bloody weather
But of course it was never about the oil.
At Telepolis News I found the original article.
Wow, if they manage to sign Jens Voigt now, they won't just have good people, but also seasoned veterans in the team. And if Udo Bölts gets involved as sports director, then Gerolsteiner could arrive in Paris next year with more than 3 people.

The same perverted madness as in Vietnam. Learned nothing
